So I will be posting multiple post breaking down different parts of the city as I write them. I would love an feed back or suggestions. I would love to creat a map but my skill at drawing are crap… so if any wants to help there it would be amazing. Lastly I will also try to create notable people of the city…. Just in case anyone what’s to feature the city in your game

Layout
Rassawek is a major city on the confluence of the Powhatan(James) river and the Rivaana (native name lost) river. The city has spread across the Y shaped confluence to form three larges districts that are connected by hover platforms that float over the rivers. The three districts are the governmental which houses the elected leadership of Rassawek, all the administrative builds and employees, and space for any foreign delegates to stay, be care for and entertained while there on political business; the Governmental District is the smallest of the three. The largest district by far is the Commerce District, this is where all the crafting guides are housed, and where nearly al trade takes place, the district also houses all the 3D printing facilities for the City. The last district is the Agricultural District, this is the place were produce from the surrounding farm fields are brought to be collected, sorted, and stored for later use. This district also houses and repairs the autonomous harvesting machines that work and tend the fields, and while food can be found in any district, the best restaurants are located here. The city itself is build on a large raised mound, the foundational mound now has large 3D printed supports to keep it structurally sound as the city grew in size. Rassawek gets all its power from a combination of solar panels and water turbines that are suspended from the hover platforms that connect the city’s 3 districts. Most of the houses and other major structures are 3D printed with only the council house continuing to be made in the old way. The 3D printed buildings and homes mirror the architecture of the council house, round structures called āti. The size of the āti depend on its purpose guild houses can be hundreds of feet in diameter, while family homes may be only a few dozen feet.

The first two of my notable place in Rassawek. Hope y’all like them.

Notable Places
Council House is one of the only structures in the city that is not 3D printed, the Council House is made in the traditional fashion. The frame is made from black locust sapling and it is covered in a layer of pawpaw bark; at its center is a stone lined fire pit. The center of the roof is vent to allow the smoke to escape, against the walls at the four cardinal directions are two rows of benches one set for each of the four clans( bear, wolf, deer and turtle). The Council House is mainly used for ceremonial purposes; the swearing in of newly elected government leaders, and the welcoming of foreign political delegates. Aside from that most of the current governmental work is done in the more modern āti what have power and more space. The Council house itself is only 40 feet in diameter and is taken down and rebuild every 12 years.

Clan Āti larger 3D printed versions of the council house each of the four Clan Āti stand 40 feet tall and over 100 feet in diameter. The outside of each Āti is decorated in a variety of images depicting the clans animal. The Clan Āti are used for major social events (dances, weddings, adoptions, etc) and they are use as a place to the clan to come together and vote on matter and elect representatives. The Āti also have some sleeping space for members of that clan visiting from other towns/cities.

I’m getting hype for the pdf release on the second

Government
The government of Rassawek is much the same as it always has been; a council made up of an elected Peace Dikáhku (chief) who serves a 7 year term and two representatives from each of the four clans one masculine and one feminine spirit serving terms 4 years. The government also can elect a War Dikáhku as often is a need; tho is has been many year since that position has needed to be filled. The Peace and War Dikáhku are an opposite and balance to each other; both only deal with business outside of the walls of Rassawek. The Peace Dikáhku is the face of Rassawek, they are sent to act as an Ambassador to other nations/ cities. In times of rising tension that could lead to conflict they advocated for a peaceful solution. The War Dikáhku is only elected if there maybe conflict and only serves until the conflict is over, it has been many years since anyone has take on the mantle of War Dikáhku. Their only job is to advocate for a violent solution to the conflict. The government expanded from this handful of elected people to include hundreds of administrators and advisers that work on and see the completion of a multitude of different government works. Whether it’s Making sure all the people of Rassawek have food or ensuring public housing is being maintained and available or the hundreds of other task that a large city requires to run and function.
The current leadership of the council is as follows
• Nikonha serving as elected Peace Dikáhku in her second year
Wolf clan
• Hamunti serving in his third year
• Waskitę serving in her first year

Turtle clan
• Nuyago serving in her third year
• Gohe serving in their first year *

Bear clan
• Ohyogéwan serving in their fourth year
• Kist serving in her second year

Deer clan
• Nexueksati serving in his four year
• Heskake serving in their second year

Notable place(s)
Warriors Āti stationed throughout the city where the Elutaone are housed while on duty. The Elutaone are the Peace Keepers of Rassawek. The Warrior Āti are easy to find printed in the alternating lines of red and blue, with a large crossed pipe and club in copper set and the top of the dome, so is easily visible

Organizations

The Elutaone is the peace keeping institution of Rassawek; stationed throughout the city and act as mediator to solve issues and problems between citizens. The Elutaone are investigators tasked with solving what few crime are committed within the city. They are the the protection for the city’s official and visiting delegates. They also act as the military arm of the government; but even amongst the oldest of citizens no one can remember the last time the Elutaone was call upon to be soldiers. While on duty they wear a standard uniform of red and blue the uniform is split vertically from head to toe on half red the other blue. The colors represent balance which is what the Elutaone aspire to maintain in Rassawek (balance). Aside from the uniform each member is issued a badge cut into the shape of the crossed pipe and club made from whelk shell it to is not only the symbol of the Elutaone organization but also a symbol of balance. For most of the duties the Elutaone are not armed although they do train constantly with all manner of weapons and equipment.
